The new twin plate series, suited to applications > 2000 lpm

Having completed an extensive period of research & design into the issue of imbalance in larger Swashplate pumps, i.e. diameter swash’s greater than 34cm or 1ft, we have developed an initial design for larger pumps that is perfectly balanced. Delivering the promise of SwashPump, i.e., smooth flow, low noise, high efficiency has hither too been elusive.

The current 02 series SwashPump, with a 34cm Swashplate delivers 1900 lpm at 500mbar vacuum, with 50% efficiency. The design goals for the twin plate pump centre around delivering a wide range of flow rates at 60% efficiency , and thus form the base platform for large scale pumps that will deliver up to 10,000 lpm. The critical element in formulating the twin plate design has been the need to have it perfectly balanced. We can confirm based on extensive analysis and independent advice that our twin pate design in fact achieves this goal.
