A Hand Cream SwashPump
After a series of successful testing and development for a SwashPump that works with volatile liquids, we have begun testing and development of a pump for extremely viscous fluids, specifically hand cream. Given the base for this particular hand cream is a natural product our client was looking for a pump with a gentle motion so as to ensure no separation occurred during the pumping process.
The clients current piston pump setup uses a 4 inch pipe on the inlet side to ensure a suitable vacuum can be generated in order to move product from the vat to the insertion machine on the production line.
Thus far during initial tests the 04 series SwashPump has been able to lift the hand cream through a one inch intake pipe from a height of 1.5m. Once all the product has been cleared from the vat, the pump clears the intake pipe and pumping chamber, leaving minimal product to be wasted.
The next step is to build a pump from stainless steel and place this into production.
